The second new moon on the horizon after the winter solstice; signals the start of the Chinese New Year, officially beginning February 10^th 2013, the year of the Water snake, indicating a year of dramatic and unsuspected changes.  Within this climate of excitement and celebration, the 22 Aquarius 21 New Moon begins it’s sojourn on the 9^th of February at 11:21 pm PST, telling us we need to take care as we are the caretakers of our thoughts, our ideas, our fellowmen and all that is within our world.  Caution and concern are the keywords, and our actions and reactions need to be adjusted accordingly, to what is being understood and what we call our own. 

We need to pay attention and not to jump to conclusions, if we are to avoid any mistakes we may regret.  The aspects in the night sky is confirming the meaning of the year of the snake in that what is left unsaid is more important then what is being said.  As all new moons is a chance to begin again, and as it coincides with the celebration of Chinese New Year, it gives us a second chance to review, renew and embark on making our world a better, safer and happier place in the coming months.  It is telling us that we can no longer sit back, and hope all will fall into place.  Action and discipline is essential as we go forth with daring to the dark unknown and uncharted areas of our future.
