“Let Go and Go With the Flow is the mood of the 23 Virgo 37 New Moon Sept 15

As the world turns, it seems to be speeding faster into tomorrow, ever since the twenty first century began.  So it appears that the year 2012 is taking its cue from all the incredible technological advancements, and zooming ever so faster into the next year.  I t seems like only yesterday, which was the beginning of the year, but already the 23 Virgo 37 New Moon is making its appearance on September 15th 2012 at 7:11 pm PDT emphasizing our need to let go and go with the flow.  With Mars square Venus Trine Uranus square Pluto sextile Chiron, the need to take drastic action because we are pushed into it, is essential at the moment, even if all we do is to improvise as the situation continues its forward motion.  At the moment the aspects are telling us not to reason why, but to make the best of what is happening and to try to get in touch with our higher inner self for revelations, to help us make some radical changes and decisions to secure a better future.

It is also telling us to return to the time when the power of love was the theme and the aim of a new revolution and revelation.  This time it is not a freedom loving revolution, but a compassionate renewal for all things created by the Universe.  Unless we begin to see that all life and things created by the Universe is interconnected and needs to live in harmony, then only chaos can be the result, and that is what we are seeing all around us at the moment.  Unfortunately, unless we begin to take action to make some far-reaching changes, the results of our causes and effects, will come upon us sooner and more sweeping and dramatic, then we could ever imagine.  The Universe in its compassion is directing our higher thoughts to the direction we need to take, but we need to continue the movement by active participation, if we are to avoid and to side step some of the trials and tribulations of our own making.  It is directing us to the flow, but now we need to take control and work with it.

“The Sabian symbol for the 24th degree of Virgo is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Virgo 24  Mary and her white lamb   This is a symbol of the self-adequacy of experience on the inner or subjective side, or of that fullness of life which comes through a cherishing of young ideas.  The healthy approach to heaven through a child’s wide-eyed expectation is a clue to the adult’s responsibility for his potentials.  These he must take with him in a very conscious fashion wherever he goes if he is not to find himself divided within himself and so defeated by his own confusion.  The keyword is artlessness.  When positive, the degree is illimitable patience and adroitness in personal accomplishment, and when negative, futile show-off and idle boasting.

This symbol speaks of the necessity for us to see the world with a youthful perspective, by seeing life through the eyes of a child.  This symbolizes the innocence, the trust, the purity, the receptivity, and the experience of being without the complexities that come from age and the repetition of life.  Our responsibility is to let go of what we think we can and cannot do and to reawaken the potential that everything is possible with no limitations to accomplishing our dreams, or experiencing and seeing the wonders that life has to offer.  Our responsibility and greatest advantage lies in our ability to keep an open mind and to always expect the best.  With this attitude, the drastic modifications we need to make will be seen as opportunities instead of the necessities of change.  As we approach this Virgo New Moon, let us remember that the drastic change we need to make at this time may be to let go and go with the flow trusting in the wisdom of the Universe.

“Is Astrology Together With the Internet an Affair Made in Heaven?”

In any age and time as long as civilization has been in existence, I am sure without a doubt that it has been said “Those were the good old days”.  Some of us who were here before the advent of the internet, have those feelings, if not a mixed bag of feelings, and some of us feel we are experiencing the good old days, right in the present moment.  I seem to find myself in the middle with awe and respect for the technological era and the advancements it has given us, but at the same time I feel something has gone amiss which is hard to pin point what.  I definitely feel we have gained more then what we have lost, but what little we have lost, might have offset everything we have accomplished so far.  Some of us have had the insight and foresight to compensate, while some of us seem not to see the problem, until we were pushed right into the situation and had our eyes opened to what was happening to us and around us.

I was one of those caught up in the momentum of the ecstasy of having all the information I wanted at my fingertips, and with an easy click of the mouse, everything was laid out in front of me, without too much effort on my part.  The problem I ran across was an overload of information and the lack of wisdom to choose which to use and when to use it, if at all.  It is like being in a candy store or bakery shop and finding myself sampling one of everything and before I was aware of it, some have spoiled, and with others I realized I really didn’t want them in the first place.  I was caught up with the momentum of accumulating what was available, and the more that was available, the more I wanted it.  Unfortunately for me, the mind, the conscious and the subconscious doesn’t discriminate and stores all this information for later use, whether wisely or unwisely, and before I knew it I was moving into areas I have never thought about or was actually interested in.

What I have discovered in my own use of the internet, is the hours surfing for information and knowledge and storing it in the back of my mind and my files for later use, and then rushing to the next site to read more and down load more data.  Have I really digested the material and did I actually think it through, or did I just quickly skim and try to incorporate what I could?  By rushing to the next vital information that I really thought I needed, did I throw discernment out the window?  Have I really thought through what I read and was I really able to integrate it into my delineations or was I hoping to use it sometime in the future?  Was I just storing the information, just to have it or was I really assimilating it into my own thoughts?  These thoughts kept going round and round, until I came to the conclusion that I needed to step away and look at it from a different point of view.

I began to remember how it was like when I first took classes in astrology and the long discussions we had on each new concept that was presented.  I realized I was getting into the habit of hoarding information, instead of gathering what I needed for the moment.  Looking at my files, I began to see how much of what was being stored was something I may never put to use, and may actually be cluttering and confusing any issue in the future I may have.  I began to wonder if some of this information was a hindrance, instead of a blessing.  I began to see that my hoarding of this data was becoming an addiction that I could not control.  Besides a habit that was gaining its own impetus, it began to clutter my own thoughts.  I wonder if being exposed to all this information, it was subtly influencing me in ways that were not beneficial to me, or make me a better astrologer?

I have always felt that thoughts and ideas can gain a life of their own, by the emotions and energy we give consciously or unconsciously to it.  I personally feel that our subconscious has the power to create what it thinks by the energy we give it, and inadvertently we may give form and power to those thoughts and ideas we casually bring into existence.  It came to my notice that all this data may be affecting my general wellbeing without me realizing how it is subtly influencing how I see things and how I react to them.  As a collective group, are we storing all this data without really thinking through the cause and effect of these ideas in our life?  Exposure to all this data maybe creating inner havoc without us realizing or seeing the results?  I do think astrology and the internet is an affair made in heaven, but as an individual we need to use it wisely and not allow cyberspace to use us and direct our lives without us being in control and making our own decisions.

“The New Frontier is Within Whispers the 08 Pisces 33 Full Moon on August 31st 2012”

As the world seems to spin ever so quickly further into the world of tomorrow, with the gadgets and technology leaving the world of science fiction and becoming reality, it seems there is no boundary that has not been touched or explored.  Yet, one area in our life seems to have taken a back seat and stood still, and with some, has reverted to a slower time period.  It is the moments which were meant to be experienced and lived for what it was, and are now lost forever in time as memories that could have been.  In the mist of the hottest summer I have ever experienced, the Full Blue Moon (blue indicating the second full moon in the same month) in 08 Pisces 33, is happening on August 31st 2012 at 6:58 am PDT whispering that the new frontier we need to revisit is within.

The aspects in the night sky are trying to tell us that what we are experiencing as a global community or individually may be created by who we think we are, rather then by our true essence.  Have we allowed our feelings, emotions, thoughts and beliefs to be overcome by the awe of the spectacular and the excitements of our modern achievements, and have lost our connections with our spiritual source and with one another?  What is really important and essential for the health and success of the greatest creation of the Universe, life, being jeopardize by what we think matters and not what really matters?  In this modern world with everything laid in front of us begging our attention, do we have the wisdom to choose the right thing that will benefit all of us, and make life worthwhile?

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 9 degrees of Pisces and for the Sun in 9 degrees of Virgo is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Pisces 9  A jockey  This is a symbol of the eagerness for life an individual must show in any true revelation of himself, and of the concern he must have for the struggles and competitions of everyday experience.  It is only through thoroughly consistent performance of his skills and talents that man establishes himself among his fellows, and as this develops in excellence he is under increasing obligation to be successful in exhibiting them.  Implicit in the symbolism are very harsh penalties for any failure to drive the capabilities of self to the limit.  The keyword is practice.  When positive, the degree is a spectacular gift for rising to any occasion, and when negative, witless gambling of every resource and potentiality.

Virgo 9  A man making a futurist drawing  This is a symbol of the originality an individual must show in any true assertion of himself, and of the importance of the aesthetic or more spiritual areas of his experience.  It is only through an identifiable and personal uniqueness that man is able to establish himself among his fellows, and the risk he takes is that if this becomes too extreme it may repel rather than attract.  Implicit in the symbolism is a challenge to a distinctiveness which will release the creative capacities of others as well as self.  The keyword is experiment.  When positive, the degree is a gift for the illimitable expansion of the human mind and a consequent extension of its powers, and when negative, complete and continuous confusion of ideas.

This symbol speaks to us to live life fully to the best of our abilities, and to acknowledge that we would not be able to achieve this without our connection with the source of all life.  It is truly living and being in the moment with our inner higher self that we learn to improve and improvise any future experiences.  With Uranus square Pluto an emphasis on the regeneration and transformation is explored through originality and the uniqueness of the expression of our individualities and yet connected to the Divine source to create and to bring solutions, to any situations that confront us.  It is in living and being in the moment from within our higher self that we tend to express the best and begin to understand our purpose here.  This Full Moon in Pisces is whispering and reminding us that the new frontier we need to conquer, to understand and to work with is within our higher self, if we are to succeed in our wishes and dreams in navigating through life’s trials and tribulations.

“Sun in the Solar Return Tenth House is an Accomplishment and Success Well Earned!”

As the financial atmosphere still seems a bit shaky and apparently recovery seems further away than most people were hoping for, the need to secure our own future is eminent in all our thoughts.  Even those who should have no apparent reason to be worried about their situation are giving second thoughts to their circumstances and are cautious of what the future has in store.  All are affected by the lingering cloud of the unknown and the unrest that seems to prevail everywhere, and the ineffective decisions that have so far not been able to turn the financial situation around.  More and more people are beginning to see the light that they need to take control of their own destiny in hand, if they are to avoid some of the trials and tribulations that may be in store for all of us.  Some of us in anticipating what the future has in store are making decisions to change our course, before we are pushed into it.  This was in the message I had received from one who sees the handwriting on the wall, and felt she needed to do something before the wall crumbles in front of her.  Realizing she had no other choices she began using astrology to pick the appropriate time in making her decisions to decide when the changes should come about to bring the best results.

For the coming year she saw that she had the Sun in the solar return tenth house and began to make her plans.  As with all major decisions, no matter how good one is at delineating a chart, doubt comes in and a second opinion is always needed to calm the fears when making a radical decision or change.  There have been many times I have sought a second opinion, as I have never felt I could be objective in delineating a chart for myself.  I am always hesitant in advising a major change, as I have always felt the individual needed to make that decision from the surrounding circumstances that may appear on the horizon.  I do not believe our life is predestined in such a way that we lose the freedom of choice.  I believe we can make it better or worst what lies in our path, by the choices we make along the way.  Seeing that the decision was already made, I felt better and more comfortable about giving my opinion on the chart. Seeing her chart was exciting for me, as this was the first time I have seen a chart in a pattern similar to my own.  Marc Edmond Jones categorizes natal charts into seven zodiacal patterns with certain traits and characteristics.  I felt I was among a kindred spirit, especially with both of ourNeptune’s in our natal first, given both of us an open door to all the traits and the characteristics this planet encompasses.

I began to wonder if even with our differences, and in the end, the outcomes may turnout to be different, would we experience and anticipate each of the situations in similar ways?  With this thought along side the axiom of Morin, that to predict a major event, one needed at least another aspect to prove the indication was feasible.  With the Sun in the solar return tenth house, exact on the midheaven and with Uranus and Pluto near the angles, an important and active year is indicated.  Sun in the tenth indicates the right time for career decisions and changes and the possibilities of becoming self-employed.  The solar return Sun square the solar return Uranus which is in opposition to Pluto, indicating an end of one situation and transforming it to something very different, giving new life and new energy to that which once seem ordinary.  With a full Moon in the solar return, the individual can expect a lot of hard work and surprises, and at the same time a period of satisfaction, accomplishment and joy.

Working with an old traditional timing method called profection, the individual focus for the year is the tenth house with the ruler Mercury located in the solar return tenth, confirming the importance of tenth house matters in the coming year.  One of the unfortunate things about the Sun in the tenth, unlike Jupiter or the Moon, if one can call it inopportune, is that everything good or bad that happens to the individual is through their own efforts, and not depended on others or blessings laid in front for their use.  The person needs to become aware and attentive of the circumstances, the surrounding influences, and to be able to improvise at a moment’s notice, to take advantage of the benefits in the coming year and to be able to reach the goals it has set for itself.  My conclusion to the solar return tenth house Sun is good and beneficial for tenth house matters, but the outcome is depended on the individual’s ability to work with the assets given to him, and the person’s accomplishment and success is well earned.  The real importance is not the end result, but how we work with what we have, that will give us the confidence and knowledge to a successful completion of our hopes and dreams where the tenth house is concerned.

“The Will and Commitment are Being Highlighted by the 25 Leo 08 Aug 17th New Moon”

As the world continues to turn with its bumpy ride through the year 2012, countries are realizing that they are not alone, but actually depended upon each other for their welfare if they are to get through the financial crunch without a domino’s effect hurting everyone.  In this surrounding atmosphere the 25 Leo 09 New Moon on august 17th 2012 at 8:56 pm PDT makes its appearance highlighting the need for the will and the commitment to work for the good of the whole instead of just the me, as we continue for our survival through difficult times.  The Leo Moon sextiles Saturn conjunct Mars and making an aspect to both Pluto square Uranus with Venus in opposition to Pluto and square Uranus.  This New Moon phase is a reminder that each of us is a spark and a creation of the Divine, expressing our individuality in the cosmic picture, but yet at the same time we need to realize we are connected to one another by the divine essence that runs through each of us.  The whole picture is greater then its part emphasizing the phase “United we stand, divided we fall”.  This statement is not only extremely appropriate at this time in the larger picture as a community and globally, but as individuals, if our emotional, intuitional and intellectual being are in conflict to one another, our ability to fulfill our goals will be futile.

“The Sabian symbol for the 26th degree of Aquarius is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Leo 26  A rainbow  This is a symbol of the over-all realization which comes to man for his guidance whenever he strives to reach his goals of a more enduring sort.  Here is assurance of divine participation in the most unpromising of human relationships.  The individual learns that there is a consistent ordering throughout the world in which he finds himself, and that nature will co-operate effectively with every vision he chooses to keep alive on his own account.  The keyword is significance.  When positive, the degree is a sense of very real spiritual power and presence in all personal effort and desire, and when negative, an uncritical acceptance of every passing hope or dream as something on which to depend.

This symbol speaks to our inner higher self in the realization of our connection to the Divine spark and to the guidance and hope it gives to us through the signs in nature of the presence of the Divine in all things with the gifts of aspiration, wish-fulfillment, faith, encouragement, and inspiration in knowing that at the end of the rainbow is the pot of gold.  The rainbow is the traditional symbol of hope dramatizing the need for faith and trust and the use and application of spiritual principles and standards for the good and benefit of all.  It is not in the pursuit to find the end of the rainbow, but the expectation, the visualization, and the thoughts of what is to be expected and looked for that develops our potentials which become the pot of gold.  It is the knowledge and the understanding that by using these spiritual principles and spiritual laws for the good of everyone, rather then for the few, that our vision and imagination will supersede its expectation.  As we approach this 25 Leo 08 New Moon, let us gain the will, the will power and the commitment to work for the good of the all and to realize we are all parts of the greater whole and the all.
