“Focus on Getting it Right Emphasizes the 18 Gemini 10 Lunar Eclipse on Dec 10 2011”

Eclipses are extra potent moon phases signaling a beginning or completion of a major lesson or lessons in life, thus marking turning points and opportunities.  We need to pay attention, to be alert, and to take steps in making it a reality.  This particular Lunar Eclipse at 18 Gemini 10 at 6:38 am PST on December 10th 2011 is emphasizing that we need to focus on getting it right at this point in time, is no exception.  Fortunately or unfortunately, accordingly to how each of us will experience this eclipse, the Universe is taking dramatic steps in reassuring and revealing to each of us the areas we need to concentrate on, if we are to experience a better tomorrow.  It is still up to each of us to be sensitive and aware of the message and to act upon it.  If we haven’t gotten the message so far from Uranus to make changes in our lives, by the planet entering into the sign of Aires, we no longer have the time to wait and see what happens.  The planet is going to push us into areas we are not familiar with, ready or not.  To keep us from continuing on the wrong path, the Universe may place us in a sink or swim situation to get us to the realization that change of direction is no longer a choice, but a necessity.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 19 degrees of Gemini and for the Sun in 19 degrees of Sagittarius is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Gemini 19  A large archaic volume  This is a symbol of the ultimate indestructibility of experience, so that any path once traversed may taken again with a greater ease and a broader self-discovery.  There is here the assurance of illimitable resources in wisdom, and the suggestion that this heritage may be made manifest at any time in an immediate and practical guidance.  The past always provides an illumination of the present, and man achieves best as he cultures a real sense of obligation to his own roots.  The keyword is background.  When positive, the degree is a special capacity for the recovery of prior advantages or the effective disentanglement of present involvements, and when negative, a slavish worship of tradition and authority.

Sagittarius 19  Pelicans moving their habitat  This is a symbol of the ultimate integrity of individual character, with each particular skill and capacity incorporated in selfhood as a potential of self-competency for subsequent refinement.  There are here illimitable resources of experience, so that when life becomes unprofitable in one phase there are always additional areas of realization in which the being may have its prompt reestablishment.  Man achieves best as he makes the fullest use of his own immediate genius.  The keyword is frontier.  When positive, the degree is the indomitable originality by which the human spirit remains at a forefront of everyday accomplishment, and when negative, an unreasonable attitude and fundamentally unsocial instincts.

These symbols with its aspects in the night sky are forcing us to articulate where we are coming from and to where our final destination will be.  To understand and to realize that the way we been doing things may no longer be the way to accomplish all that we desire and wish for.  Though it is a necessity to learn and work with the past, it may not be necessary to incorporate those ideas in materializing the future.  It is also important to have the wisdom and flexibility to turn on a dime so to speak, if the direction we are taking appears to be heading in the wrong direction.  Adaptability is a gift from Uranus that needs to be used to its fullest potential to insure that we think in new ways for answers to any of our difficulties at the moment.  We must face any situation with enthusiasm, courage, joy and knowledge with the understanding that all new beginnings are frontiers to the unknown which will bring to fruition new solutions.  Uranus is asking us to rethink how we think, and to reorganize and to see in a new light what is important in our lives.  As this Lunar Eclipse approaches its completion we need to focus on getting it right this time around.

“Is the Planet Uranus with Mercury and Steve Jobs, Kindred Spirits?”

As an admirer and fan of the vision and the accomplishments of Steve Jobs, I believe the adorations and the tributes expressed by the media are well deserved.  He had a determination and persistence to follow through even when criticism and doubt came from his own peers and organization, which shows the conviction and belief he had in his vision.  After seeing the results of his labors, no one can deny his ability to visualize the needs, wants, and wishes of the consumer before they even realized it.  His natal chart describes a person who has the ability to express, to communicate, and to convince others of his vision and ideas.  This desire to create was energized by his innate need to express his feelings, receptivity, sensitivity and nurturing to create products for the consumer that was a must have, without the consumer consciously realizing the need until the possession and the use of the product.

No wonder Mr. Jobs is considered an icon for the Aquarian age and the high tech revolution.  For me he is also an icon and a kindred spirit for all of us who follow the beat of a different drummer, an inspiration and a reason that gives us the foundation and strength for not giving up or giving in to that which gives meaning and essence to our existence and to our every step we take.  That we need to reassure ourselves that we are not alone, and that there are others out there making their own music and leading their own parade.  He is an example for all of us that thinking out of the box and beyond with the determination to follow our own vision can be a reality with its own rewards and satisfactions.  It is not important or necessary that we succeed in our fields like he did.  What is important is that we do not get discourage in bringing into reality our own dreams, and that we continue to follow the music within.

Using the data for Steve Jobs I discovered on the internet, the ruler of both the ascendant and mid heaven is Mercury in the sign of Aquarius.  This I found interesting as Uranus is in the sign of Cancer relating to the Moon in Aries in connection with Saturn in Mars trine to Jupiter conjunct Uranus.  His planets and aspects bouncing off each other as they do, it is no wonder that he is the poster child for the high tech world with his vision of what the world would be like in the twenty first century.  His Mercury representing how he saw himself and how others saw him and his ingenious ways he saw things with the planet being directly influenced by Uranus conjunct Jupiter on the verge of entering the house of helpful friends, helpful wishes and helpful visions.  There was no way he would see things in the normal way or could respond to the way everyone else saw or experienced the moment.  His ability to see beyond what everyone else saw and more, speaks to his innate nature to see the possibilities before they became apparent.

Mr. Jobs is a kindred spirit to the high tech world, Mercury, Uranus and for anyone that thinks outside of the box and for all those with determination who do not give up until their vision becomes reality.  Astrology too is a kindred spirit as we stand outside of the main stream thinking, and until we use and work with it, we don’t realize how useful, important, and constructive it is in our daily lives.  To honor the memory of one of many who led the way, kindred spirits around the world need to follow his example by standing strong to their own vision, no matter the criticism and lack of faith and vision of others.  As long as there is some sort of aspect or connection between Mercury and Uranus, it will indicate an individual who hears and sees things differently.  By using these energies to their fullest we not only show our gratitude and respect, but we honor the gift the Universe has given to us, by becoming kindred spirits and seeing the world in a different light.

“With High Hopes There Goes Another Rubber Tree Plant Sings the 3 Sag Solar Eclipse”

As the winter nights and the global financial situation seems to be in a slow mode, a chance for change of attitude and hope, and a time to make a difference is in the air with 02 Sagittarius 36 partial Solar Eclipse at 10:10 pm PST on November 24th 2011.  Eclipses are extra potent moon phases signaling a beginning or completion of a major lesson or lessons in life.  Another important aspect is that this is the last of the six super moons for the year which indicates its’ closest distance from the earth and the importance its influence may have in our lives in the coming weeks.  Coincidentally it is happening at the end of the day during the celebration of Thanksgiving in theUnited States.  With a stellium in Sagittarius and a trine involving Jupiter, Pluto, and Mars, it is reminiscent of the song “High Hopes” written by Sammy Cahn from the film “A Hole in the Head (1959).  The song tells of an ant with high hopes against insurmountable odds, and finally moving a rubber tree plant.  It is a song and story of overcoming the impossible and the unthinkable, because of determination.  Whoops, there goes another rubber tree plant.

This reminds us that any situations or circumstances needs to be thought thoroughly through if we are to begin to understand if things needs to be revised, updated or a complete new direction be instituted.  If change is what is indicated, a thorough understanding and strategy, is a must and should be considered and worked on before jumping into any solution without knowing of a successful outcome.   If the remedy to the solution seems to be impossible, the aspects in the night sky are saying to us to use the energy of the planets to decide the next step.  Reminding us that high hopes with positive thinking and thoughts combine with determination with an open mind will allow us to find the answer and lead us through the dark tunnel to the light and to safety.  The Universe is reminding us that all is energy, and that the mind which is energy can transform and create.  The aphorism that “birds of a feather flock together” is more a universal law that is always at work, more then we realize or pay attention to.  Keeping our thoughts with high hopes and positive thinking will attract its similarities to it, bringing more ideas and successful completions into reality.

“The Sabian symbol for the 3rd degree of Sagittarius is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Sagittarius 3  Two men playing chess  This is a symbol of the self-confidence and authority which come to man through his refinement of skills and discipline of understanding, and of his capacity for mobilizing every potentiality of self at any point of challenge in events.  Here is emphasis on the individual’s effective and profitable participation in a reality which he has been able to approach and master through the completeness of his perspective.  His gift of concentration is his genius of self-fulfillment.  The keyword is ability.  When positive, the degree is high sensitiveness to every possibility of accomplishment of broadened self-discovery, and when negative, unsuspected bigotry or foolish exactitude.

This symbol speaks to the extraordinary mastery of our mental abilities expressing our foresight, imagination, keen insight, sustained concentration and the anticipation of the thoughts and actions of others and the consequences of these actions.  It is also our ability to profit and learn from our trials and errors, the routines of others, the laws of nature, and our natural ability to improvise, respond and quickly react effectively and forcefully when the unexpected happens.  Our love of intellectual competition and sportsmanship with either our self or others is one of our innate needs.  With the above assets, talents and techniques under our belt in hand with high hopes, positive thoughts and determination, how can we fail?  We may not win like we hoped, but we will not have lost either, but have gained knowledge and wisdom to achieve our wishes and goals at the end.  So with high hopes, there goes another rubber tree plant.

“No Planets in the Solar Return Second House Says to Look Before You Leap!”

The most important concept I have learnt in life, and have always believed in, is to be forewarned is to be forearmed.  As a student of the art who believes astrology can predict the future, some may see me as pessimistic, in anticipating the possibilities of what might come into fruition.  Maybe that is the reason why I have come to behave in the manner that one should always be prepare for whatever situation one encounters.  “Be prepared” was my key word I learnt in the cub scouts.  My birth chart disposes me to see the optimistic side, to a point of being unrealistic, this aspect in my personality caused me to be concern when a fellow worker expressed his apprehensions for the financial situation in the coming year.

Normally I would not give this a second thought because of the times we are going through, but having studied his natal chart with Jupiter and Venus on the angle of the first house which gives him the ability to see through the darkness to the light of any situation, I began to wonder what in his solar return in the coming year would indicate his concern.  His solar return chart for the New Year shows an empty second house, which immediately instilled in me a sense of caution, telling me to look before I leap to any conclusions.  Before studying Morin, I might assume that the finances would not have been a major issue to be considered in the pursuing period.

Following Morin’s steps in delineating the solar return, it becomes obvious that the matter is nagging on him, but differently then what appears to be the reason.  The chart has almost returned back to the original position it was in, in the natal.  Venus and Jupiter have returned to the same angle, with Saturn in Libra also conjunct an angle.  The ruler of the second finance house is Venus, in a sign it is happy in.  The Sun has returned to the eleventh house of wishes, goals and friends who help him in accomplishing his goals.   All these factors points to a very important year, where things can be accomplished as the assets, the talents, the promises and the gifts given at birth will be at his finger tips, during the coming year.

Generally a good period for everything involving profession, occupation, reputation, fortune, finances, and investing. With the natal second on the solar return ascendant, it shows concern in the area of his finances, in his possessions, in relationship to his feelings, in his abilities to nurture, in his willingness to protect and in what he considers to be within his domain and interest.  Care, caution and consideration are a necessity when he gets involved in the sharing of ideas, in working with contracts and in the signing of legal documents.  During this time the thoughts floating through the individual’s insight may appear far fetched and even quite abstract even to himself, but he needs to trust his instinct and follow his feelings, as success will be in reach, even though it doesn’t seem apparent.

New interests, unexpected directions and projects will force the individual out of his familiarity and comfort zone, leading him into new vistas, testing his confidence and intuition.  This experience will be giving him new areas in which to explore and surmount any situation in the way he does best.  The time is now for personal reassessment of the rules he judges himself by and the clarification and revision of his objectives and vision in which to integrate his rational thinking with his emotional feelings.  In this way he will be able to turn his concepts and thoughts into the reality he understands and can appreciate and work with.

With any delineation of any chart, the stars indicate the directions and energies; the individual has the freedom of choice to decide to fulfill the promise or allow the cause and the effect to make their own choices.  Whether the future indicates benefic or malefic outcomes, how we choose to live will determine the degree it will accomplish in its end results.  As the gifts and the blessings may be indicated, the final outcomes depend on the actions of the individual involved.  Even with the stars working with the individual, the person in question needs to take control of his life and to be consciously alert and to be articulate in his thoughts and action.  As with the astrologer in delineating the chart, the consultant in carrying out and fulfilling the promise of the chart, needs to look before he or she leaps into action, if success is to be achieve.

“To Anticipate is To Participate Repeats the 18 Taurus 05 Full Moon on Nov 10th 2011”

As the winter nights with its cold chill winds sweep through the dark, the 18 Taurus 05 Beaver Full Moon on November 10th 2011 is repeating its message that to anticipate is to participate.  To the indigenous people and the early settlers ofNorth America, this moon phase begins the opportune time to collect the beaver fur for warmth and trade, for the bleak months ahead.  With a trine involving Pluto, Mars and Jupiter, the night sky is telling us to prepare and to be ready for any circumstances that presents it self.  If we wish to be successful in any situation, we need to have as our mantra the motto of the Boy’s Scout “to be Prepare”.  Being prepared, is to use our imagination and our mind to anticipate and prepare for any event that will present it self, in so doing we are participating and working through all eventualities.  This full moon is telling us to think in, out, around, above, and below the box to imagine all possible outcomes, to see which one will reenergize and reinvent our thinking and our lives.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 19 degrees of Taurus and for the Sun in 19 degrees of Scorpio is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Taurus 19  A newly formed continent  This is a symbol of the raw substance of existence, and it suggests that experience may shape its own ground in full conformity with its desires.  Inherent in the symbolism is an awareness of the constant reworking of all reality through the course of successive overall cycles, and it dramatizes the fact that man re-establishes himself continuously within the lineaments of each new realization of his powers and of the opportunities of his world.  The keyword is originality.  When positive, the degree is a revolutionary potentiality by which each individual is enabled to remodel the entire face of the universe, and when negative, a genius for futile turmoil and persistent upset.

Scorpio 19  A parrot listening and then talking  This is a symbol of the raw substance of intelligence, and it suggests that conscious existence can be shaped according to any desired lineaments.  Inherent in the symbolism is sensitiveness to the continual reworking of reality on the ideal or imaginative side, and to the opportunity the individual may have for selecting or rejecting every essential element of his make-up.  Man continually projects the image in which he creates himself.  The keyword is conventionality.  When positive, the degree is exceptional skill in bringing the whole tenor of transient circumstances to the service of a personal aspiration, and when negative, idle mimicry and self-gratifying pretense.

The implication here is that the Universe through its manifested reality is constantly changing and reworking itself into new possibilities.  We need to follow the lead of the Universe and to adapt, to improvise, to think and to act on each moment as it unfolds.  This symbol represents creative and far-reaching vision, new opportunities and transformation for any situation we put our mind to.  At the same time it is reminding us to examine the information we receive, before we repeat or use the information in directing our lives and our future.  It is telling us not to accept blindly, but to double check that it is reliable, accurate and precise before engaging in its use.  Our greatest advantage during these precarious times lies in adjusting and ad-libbing to changing circumstances.  By identifying our potentialities and possibilities, our awareness and realization will be rooted in reality.  This Full Moon in Taurus is like the symbol of the bull, which is staying put, until we get the message that “to anticipate is to participate”.
