“Seek and Define One’s Sacred Purpose in Life Implies the 7 Leo 24 Full Moon on Jan 26th 2013”

As the year continues its journey, the days already seems to fly by and the dark cold winter nights seems to give way to the anticipation, that the warmth of spring is not too far away.  The hope of optimism is ever eternal and present in one’s thoughts and one’s feelings as one faces the unknown expectations and experiences that are about to unfold.  Our faith and trust in promises and the ideology without action, whether they are ours or others, are on shaky grounds.  Our need and necessity to think and feel out of the box and the norm is not only knocking on our door, but is about to break it open.  In this atmosphere the 7 Leo 24 Full Moon on January 26th 2013 at 8:30 pm PST begins to beam its light implying our need to seek and define one’s sacred purpose in life.  The fixed stars in conjunction with Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto with their aspect with one another are reminding us to take a giant step forward into the unknown and the uncharted areas in understanding our destiny and our feelings and the way we see it.  That to create and to heal comes out of our wisdom and our courage in our sacred beliefs, in which we really are and were we are meant to be.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 8th degrees of Leo and for the Sun in 8th degrees of Aquarius is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Leo 8  A Bolshevik propagandist  This is a symbol of the indomitable expectation of the human spirit as it gathers strength from the innermost reaches of man’s own or enduring nature, here emphasized by the recurrent battles over social and political concepts.  The exceptional dynamic involved is seen in the selfless energy developed to an extreme by the revolutionists of each new age.  Implicit in the reversed symbolism is the need of the human community for worthy cause to which to rally in every aspect of its potentials.  The keyword is leaven.  When positive, the degree is a determination to share the soul’s vision and to make a permanent impact on history, and when negative, futile ranting against a multitude of superficial ills.

Aquarius 8  Beautifully gowned wax figures  This is a symbol of the ineradicable vanity of the human spirit as it gathers strength not only from the finery it wears but from a superficial display of woman’s form and man’s reputation, here emphasized  through personal idealizations.  A strong psychological dynamic for individual effort comes from the direct influence of outstanding and even notorious people, and implicit in the static symbolism of the waxworks is a necessity to recognize and identify the values worthy of emulation.  The keyword is impact.  When positive, the degree is achievement through the effective dramatization of human character on some level of everyday understanding, and when negative, futile effort to recapture outworn experience.

This symbol speaks to us about the fire of passion and the intense hope that rises in our souls when we support a cause we truly believe in.  The emphasis here is the selfless dedication to an ideology, especially when it includes the welfare of all.  The greatest advantage lies in aligning oneself with the most worthy causes, in seeking the greatest good for all concerned.  Implicit in this image is being a positive role model by demonstrating the highest virtues in practical every day living.  Emulation is the first step in achieving the qualities one is seeking to bring about in oneself and the second is the determination to dramatize one’s beneficial qualities by taking a fresh look at oneself and to be able to improvise, rearrange, and experiment until one arrives at the image that truly represents who we are.  Once we come to terms with our self, the direction and the reason for our sojourn in this life will become clear.  As the picture of the real us is established during this full moon period, the energies will unfold and help us to define our sacred purpose in life.

“The Will and Commitment are Being Highlighted by the 25 Leo 08 Aug 17th New Moon”

As the world continues to turn with its bumpy ride through the year 2012, countries are realizing that they are not alone, but actually depended upon each other for their welfare if they are to get through the financial crunch without a domino’s effect hurting everyone.  In this surrounding atmosphere the 25 Leo 09 New Moon on august 17th 2012 at 8:56 pm PDT makes its appearance highlighting the need for the will and the commitment to work for the good of the whole instead of just the me, as we continue for our survival through difficult times.  The Leo Moon sextiles Saturn conjunct Mars and making an aspect to both Pluto square Uranus with Venus in opposition to Pluto and square Uranus.  This New Moon phase is a reminder that each of us is a spark and a creation of the Divine, expressing our individuality in the cosmic picture, but yet at the same time we need to realize we are connected to one another by the divine essence that runs through each of us.  The whole picture is greater then its part emphasizing the phase “United we stand, divided we fall”.  This statement is not only extremely appropriate at this time in the larger picture as a community and globally, but as individuals, if our emotional, intuitional and intellectual being are in conflict to one another, our ability to fulfill our goals will be futile.

“The Sabian symbol for the 26th degree of Aquarius is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Leo 26  A rainbow  This is a symbol of the over-all realization which comes to man for his guidance whenever he strives to reach his goals of a more enduring sort.  Here is assurance of divine participation in the most unpromising of human relationships.  The individual learns that there is a consistent ordering throughout the world in which he finds himself, and that nature will co-operate effectively with every vision he chooses to keep alive on his own account.  The keyword is significance.  When positive, the degree is a sense of very real spiritual power and presence in all personal effort and desire, and when negative, an uncritical acceptance of every passing hope or dream as something on which to depend.

This symbol speaks to our inner higher self in the realization of our connection to the Divine spark and to the guidance and hope it gives to us through the signs in nature of the presence of the Divine in all things with the gifts of aspiration, wish-fulfillment, faith, encouragement, and inspiration in knowing that at the end of the rainbow is the pot of gold.  The rainbow is the traditional symbol of hope dramatizing the need for faith and trust and the use and application of spiritual principles and standards for the good and benefit of all.  It is not in the pursuit to find the end of the rainbow, but the expectation, the visualization, and the thoughts of what is to be expected and looked for that develops our potentials which become the pot of gold.  It is the knowledge and the understanding that by using these spiritual principles and spiritual laws for the good of everyone, rather then for the few, that our vision and imagination will supersede its expectation.  As we approach this 25 Leo 08 New Moon, let us gain the will, the will power and the commitment to work for the good of the all and to realize we are all parts of the greater whole and the all.

“No Where to Run Except Within Sings the 10 Aquarius 15 Full Moon on Aug 1st 2012”

As the financial and domestic situations seem to linger longer then we hoped or expected, the obvious explanation is attributed to the slower planets.  The effects of an aspect from a slower moving planet will last longer as it fades from being strongly felt to where it is hardly noticed and back again, many times as it continues its journey.  Pluto, the transformer squares Uranus, the innovative as it begins its first of seven exact squares on June 24 2012 indicating major changes are about to happen. Under this influence the 10 Aquarius 15 Full Moon on August 1st 2012 at 8:28 pm PDT is singing that there is nowhere to run except within our higher spiritual intuition to depend on, in order to navigate the inevitable changes we will be experiencing during this period to a successful end or one we will be happy with.  If we are to achieve success of any kind, the Universe is telling us that we need to look within, for the answers lie within our higher spiritual self.  With the full moon in beneficial aspects to Mars and Jupiter, and Saturn trine Venus, the Universe is pointing and helping us to secure the insight and foresight to choose the right path we need to take in order to see the light to our problems.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 11 degrees of Aquarius and for the Sun in 11 degrees of Leo is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Aquarius 11  Man tête-à-tête with his inspiration   This is a symbol of satisfaction in the transcendental experiences of selfhood, and of a new realization that each individual lives in a consistent intimacy with spiritual verities of every sort  and on every hand.  Implicit in the symbolism is the need to act continually in personal self-interest, and to translate every vision into practical consummation.  As man accepts the overshadowing of a universal life and order, he must demonstrate his own special capacities and rededicate his own individual achievements.  The keyword is ecstasy.  When positive, the degree is an enthusiastic idealism and a tireless desire to serve others, and when negative, complete self-obsession.

Leo 11  Children on a swing in a huge oak tree  This is a symbol of satisfaction in the normal exercise of selfhood, and of a new realization of the high dependability exhibited by man’s physical and social sustainments.  Implicit in the symbolism is a special refreshment of the spirit, but only through a continual development of its responsibilities to its own manifestation of itself.  As each individual accepts the overshadowing of a universal life and order he achieves an ever-better conception of personal reality.  The keyword is delight.  When positive, the degree is a consistent zest for every possible phase of living and a real generosity of self-expenditure, and when negative, laziness exalted as a virtue.

The implication of this symbol is the understanding and the acknowledgement that we are connected and created by a power greater then ourselves, in which we can rely on for support and guidance.  Knowledge is power, but spiritual knowledge is even greater as it creates that which we wish for, if we follow its guidance and support.  This symbol alludes to our higher intuition, higher imagination and the inner communication with our higher self.  The accent is on using these gifts from the Universe by bringing them into reality.  When we go within and trust our higher spiritual self, our personal understanding of our place in the overall scheme of things is heightened and enhanced as the solutions to our problems become clearer.  At this point a momentum is created with enthusiasm, boundless energy, and an eagerness to experience the life that one desires.  With this in mind, we can experience this Aquarius Full Moon with confidence as there is no where to run but within ourselves for the answers.

“Reenergizing By Keeping Retrospection Alive Says Mercury Retrograde July 14 2012”

Many things that happen in this life are very cyclic and they seem to come around before we know it, and least expect it.  This Mercury Retrograde has definitely sneaked up on me, if not all of us, and will begin on July 14th 2012 at 12 Leo 32 R until August 7th 2012 at 01 Leo 26 D.  Every retrograde one experiences, needs to be considered with caution, carefulness and with perception and foresight in order to avoid glitches, personal misunderstanding, flawed, disrupted, and delayed communications with ourselves and others.  Although I know there will always be delays and disruptions that we can not avoid during this period, much of the frustrations and stresses we will experience are caused by our own carelessness and thoughtlessness.  I have always believed we need to take action in place of reacting to any situation for our advantage, if we are to get through this period of time with flying colors.  With retrospection we can review and relive the moment preparing alternative endings that will reenergize how we see things.  It will prepare us to improvise and to come up with the right decisions to avoid any stress or tribulations one normally experiences during this period of time.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 13 degrees of Leo and for the Sun in 2 degrees of Leo is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Leo 13  An  old sea captain rocking  This  is a symbol  of man’s great love for reliving his experiences in memory, and of his gift for achieving a mastery in  advance of whatever new situations he may face by bringing all the ramifying relationships to a focus in a personal and competent grasp of their more pertinent potentialities.  He fights the battles of the world in his imagination, over and over again.  He knows that events repeat themselves, and so may be brought in leash.  The keyword is retrospect.  When positive, the degree in each person’s unlimited capacity for calling up afresh the powers he has gained in his struggle toward self-fulfillment, and when negative, insensibility to present reality in a full surrender to the past.

Leo 2  An epidemic of mumps  This is a symbol of personal capacities wholly out of hand, and of the momentary appeal of escapist ideas whenever the self fails to remain alive to its own immediate needs or ultimate interests.  The reversed symbolism emphasizes the absolute necessity laid on every living spirit, that somehow it retain a passionate sensitiveness to the practical import or organic usefulness of everything it encounters in its everyday situation.  Here is life poised in sharp susceptibility.  The keyword is infection.  When positive, the degree is continual self-dramatization as the basis for participation in current affairs, and when negative, retreat to self-deficiencies in a frantic effort to avoid experience.

This symbol speaks to us that our maturity and our experiences, on any matter we are concern with at the moment, are a few of the assets that are pertinent as the turning point in avoiding mistakes during this retrograde period.  The past proves everything is cyclic and will give us the clue when they are about to happen again, or we can stop them before they get started when we see the first signs that are about to begin.  The emphasis is that history repeats itself and occurs in cycles.  By remembering the events that have happen in the last retrograde we will be able to foresee the possibilities.  This is the time to return to our inner thoughts and to anticipate, live and be conscious of each moment as it happens.  In the reflection of the past, we can imagine and construct a better tomorrow.  Applying this to the retrograde, we can avoid similar mistakes and go through this period without the degree of difficulty and stress normally associated with this interlude of time.  With Mercury in Leo we need to make sure we do not allow our ego, creativity, pleasures, and self-expression to get in the way of paying attention to the details and to what is actually happening at the moment.  If we do that, this phase will go by more smoothly and without the incidents normally associated with it.  This Mercury Retrograde can be reenergized by our retrospection.

“Empathy Versus Sympathy Spotlights the 18 Leo 32 Snowy Full Moon on Feb 7th 2012”

I have always thought the full moon is infinitely more interesting than the new moon with its never-ending number of possibilities one can participate in, because of the dynamics of the opposition of the lights fighting for one’s attention.  It is like seeing the glass half full or half empty when one is reevaluating and rethinking about the accomplishments we have accumulated from our decisions we have made during our sojourn in this life.  It depends on the situation and the condition of how we see and interpret the circumstances, which determines how we view the contents of the glass.  This Snowy Full Moon at 18 Leo 32 at 1:56 p.m. PST on February addresses this by spotlighting the attributes of empathy versus that of sympathy.  The aspects are subtly pushing and pulling us, in their effort to convince the subconscious its need to take the lead for those who mean something to us.  The moon phase is emphasizing that during this pivotal period all our actions and reactions need to be done with feeling and being, if we are to see our wishes and dreams become reality.  It is directing us to go beyond our intellectual state of sympathy to understanding the underlying circumstances into the emotional state of empathy.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 19 degrees of Leo and for the Sun in 19 degrees of Aquarius is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Leo 19  A houseboat party  this is a symbol of creative relaxation as a prelude to effective effort, and of man’s normal capacity for achievement through an everyday rehearsal of co-operative relationships with his fellows.  There is here a sealing off of some pleasant pocket of life for an intensified culture of the skills and inspiration which can implement a contribution to the world at large.  Any dull routine of existence may be exalted as a common adventure in self-expenditure.  The keyword is congeniality.  When positive, the degree is a gracious eagerness of participation in the more worthwhile or enduring aspects of human affairs, and when negative, thoughtless self-indulgence and contempt for the general welfare.

Aquarius 19  A forest fire quenched  This is a symbol of regenerative relaxation after extraordinary effort, and of man’s exceptional capacity for achievement through the whole-giving of himself in am emergency.  Here is the dynamic co-operation by which the individual gains a high peak of self-expenditure, and in the moment’s intensification rehearse potentialities he would never discover otherwise.  What can be misfortune to be suffered can as easily become a successful adventure in broad social responsibility.  The keyword is concern.  When positive, the degree is special skill in bringing personal interests to some larger point of effectiveness, and when negative, a fear of experience and a sublet delight in calamity.

The Snowy Full Moon, also known as the Hungry Full Moon was named by the native tribes’ ofNorth Americabecause they considered February, the month with the harshest weather conditions.  This helped to forewarn and remind them that this particular month’s weather conditions made hunting very difficult to provide for the sustenance and for the livelihood of the community during the bitter part of winter.  The Sabian symbols are suggesting that not only through the good, but even during the difficult and trying times to create an occasion for relaxation and creative play.  The emphasis is fellowship that becomes the means for cultivating the resources in which all accomplishments of lasting value is achieved.  In this environment one discovers personal skills and abilities previously unrecognized, and the aptitude to rise above any situation or crisis one encounters.  We need to remind ourselves that this kind of activity is nourishment for our soul and spirit in which to help us to create a shelter from our own negative thoughts and feelings when they come upon us like the falling snow.  This Leo Moon is allowing us to develop new inspirations and adventures, by spotlighting and demonstrating the results we can achieve with empathy and sympathy.

“Methodical Persistence Creates Metamorphosis with the 3 Scorpio 2 New Moon on Oct 26th”

As the daylight becomes shorter and the dark of the night becomes longer, and the winds commence to blow with the weather getting colder, we are pressed by the subliminal to realize our need to revisit, reinvent, and reenergize our thinking.  As the winter begins to claim its share of the year, our instincts and intuition is telling our subconscious and our soul, that we need to store up, knowledge and information so we may arrange them into a logical sequence for use when the time is right.  As the ideas and thoughts are molded into our desires and are taken hold by our subconscious, only then will they blossom and materialize, creating mental magic.  With all new moons we are given a blank slate to begin new projects, and there is no exception with 3 Scorpio 2 New Moon on October 26 2011 at 12:55 pm PDT which is urging us that methodical persistence creates metamorphosis.

The New Moon is in opposition to Jupiter in Taurus, is trine toNeptunein Aquarius, is sextile to Pluto in Capricorn, and with Mars in Leo sextile to Saturn in Libra.  These aspects are asking us to question our understanding of our beliefs, morals, rules and regulations we stand for and defend as our own, in which we live by.  If there is any reasonable doubt our viewpoint is not just and fair to all, because our perceptions and our ability to see through the mist of illusions and delusions at this time may be hindered.  We must be flexible and be able to improvise a solution that can deliver what we believe and what we stand for.  We need to acquire the intensity and the methodical persistence to follow through what we started and believe in.  At this point in time, it is not important that we accomplish the fulfillment of our desires and the purpose of our sojourn, but the way and the how we try to bring it about, which is vital to our wellbeing.

“The Sabian symbol for the 4th degree of Virgo is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Scorpio 4  A youth holding a lighted candle  This is a symbol of a true contact with inner and transcendental realms of reality, and of the rewards to the spirit which come from a realization of the continuing ties between the least of individuality and universal life as such.  There are always evidences of higher meaning and immortal value in each moment’s detail of everyday living, and there is an enthusiasm which arises from an ever-clear vision to bring every possible sustainment to man in his outer and practical world.  The keyword is reliance.  When positive, the degree is an unquenchable and irresistible confidence in the goodness and integrity of all things, and when negative, a simple-minded impracticality if not a very unhealthy self-obsession.

This Sabian symbol emphasizes the need to come into this world with the innocence and the wonderment of a child and in having the wisdom, the respect and the understanding of the implications the candle represents and stands for.  This candle speaks to us of enlightenment, vision, inspiration, clarification, illumination, radiance and discernment in all matters.  Its light brings an awareness of the ultimate sacredness of all life, and the message, that the divine spirit flows through all life and matter.  This light in the dark represents discernment and searching for higher meanings and significances in every experience.  The candlelight points the way for others in the dark to see things more clearly and to lead the way out of darkness.  Even with knowledge and wisdom, unrelenting action is needed to reach the goals we set for ourselves and once there we will come to the realization, we have changed.  The transformation may be more dramatic then we may become conscious of.  To achieve our purpose and to bring about change, we need to follow the message of this Scorpio Moon, which urges us that methodical persistence creates metamorphosis.

“Look Beyond What You See Echoes the 20 Aquarius 41 Full Moon on Aug 13th 2011”

When the moon phases arrives each month, I find it is the right time to meditate and become still for a moment and to reflect, reenergize, revitalize and rethink what has been happening.  It gives me a chance to renew my friendship with my spiritual side and to realize that life is more then just material gain and show.  It is a moment of time I have allotted to myself to be honest and to see and understand what makes me tick and what makes a difference in my life.  I may keep these thoughts on the back burner during the rest of the month and the months to come, but I know that by reminding my self periodically, one day they will materialize into reality.  The Full Moon at 20 Aquarius 41 occurring on August13 2011 at 11:57 PDT is echoing to us to look beyond what we see, and to see things as they really are.  This phase of the moon always reminds me of a glass with half the liquid, is it half full or half empty?

It is our attitude that determines the outcome of the answer.  The more positive we are, the more positive is the outlook and the final outcome and vice or versa.  With the moon conjunct Neptune opposite Mercury and Venus, it is telling us to see beyond the emotions of what we see and think and visualize the effects our thoughts and actions may create.  We need to see and imagine our thoughts and actions in a positive and constructive direction, which will continue to lead to new beginnings and explorations, instead of seeing the end of the road that goes nowhere.  Our greatest advantage in being positive is that through our disappointments, defeats and experience, we learn to pick ourselves up and start all over again and move forward.  Knowing these failures are only stepping stones to the success of our endeavors.  It is our positive attitude that gives us the determination and energy to continue until we reach our goals.

“The Sabian symbol for the Moon in 21 degrees of Aquarius and for the Sun in 21 degrees of Leo is taken from “The Sabian Symbols in Astrology by Marc Edmund Jones”, and what follows are my comments.

Aquarius 21  A woman disappointed and disillusioned  This is a symbol of the inevitable distress of the human soul whenever it seeks any enduring sustainment from elements without anchorage in its own nature, dramatized in the negative symbolism by the futility of its attempted fulfillment through a capitalization on purely physical assets of self.  The deeper potentials of the being afford the real possibilities of self-discovery, and personal frustrations are a challenge to a genuine self-realization rather than a denial of opportunity.  The keyword is clearance.  When positive, the degree is the self’s inherent gift for pressing on and gaining increased powers with every setback, and when negative, the acceptance of all defeat as final.

Leo 21  Chickens intoxicated  This is a symbol of the inevitable distress of the human soul whenever it seeks stimulation from elements essentially alien to its own nature, dramatized in the reversed symbolism by the futility of a dependence on physical agency for spiritual results.  There are limitations in man’s basic make-up which he must learn to put to use other than as a justification for his various inadequacies.  They are a reason for achievement, not a cancellation of potentials.  The keyword is accentuation.  When positive, the degree is the individual’s capacity for a creative self-mobilization which will enable him to rise to the needs of every possible situation, and when negative, unnecessary bondage to externals.

These Sabian symbols reinforces the aspects the planets are making in the night sky by reminding us to look beyond ourselves, to whom we want to be and to whom we really are, and to work with what we have.  Success comes when we concentrate on what we love, know and understand, and clear out all the clutter.  Instead of relying on outside stimulants and suggestions that give us no support in our endeavors, we need to go within and concentrate on our abilities, and the knowledge and information we have accumulated.  The half full class may represent our limitations and liabilities, but by seeing these restrictions and combining them with our assets, we create opportunities and challenges that will lead to accomplishments that will bring potentials into manifestation.  To avoid any regrets this Full Moon is echoing to us, that it is our duty to ourselves to look beyond what we see in order not to place our hopes and energies on the wrong goals, thoughts and ideas.
