About me

goatgoattag

I have always been interested in all forms of divination, especially astrology,   tarot cards, rune stones and feng Shui because I feel that it proves God is alive and ticking, and we are here for a purpose.  I may not understand what that purpose is, but I am attempting to discover the knowledge to return to that glorious state before the fall.  Astrology and divination and the spiritual path, if used correctly are guides back to our heavenly kingdom.  The fall was providence and the need to return to our celestial state is divine intervention.  Although I use divination, our spiritual path and growth is the most important tool to return to our heavenly state, and divination is only one of the many paths to help us to achieve that goal.  I believe that the ancient rituals given to man from God are the keys back to heaven, besides achieving a happy and prosperous life here on earth.

Does the 6th House correspond to the center of the Bagua Map ?

    Thanks and all the Best.

Would you mind writing a bit about the meaning of the Asc Node in a person’s chart. (especially Asc Node in Scorpio, that’s where my placement is)

  4. That’s what I realized recently: astrology proves the presence of a grand design. Of God. Isn’t it lovely? 🙂

Thanks for posting details about my TMA article on Sequential Conjunctions – that was much appreciated. And I’m so glad you found it useful and interesting.

Hi Lincoln – I’ve just discovered This and That and really like the way you write about astrology (enough detail to help continue to educate, but with a hefty dose of the ‘everyday’ to make it relevant). I’ve been “self-educating” (thank-you Google!) on Astrology for a couple of years. I’ve read a lot. But (and this might sound like the dumbest question) I am still mystified as to how you (literally, practically) relate current transits back to your own natal chart. This phrase for example:
” The Sun at 19 to 20 degrees Taurus opposes Saturn in Scorpio at 2:28 pm Saturday. The sun in any sign opposing Saturn hits a milestone of some kind. One may have to say goodbye to people or places, or move, or change jobs, or retire. Check your natal chart to see if this contacts a natal planet, and what house that planet rules, for hints as to what may be in store for you.” Looking at my own natal chart –
1 – am I checking for any planets I have at 19-20 degrees of Taurus, and that house?
2 – am I checking for any planets I have in Scorpio, and that house?
3 – am I checking for which sign/house my Saturn is in (ditto for my Sun)
4 – or am I checking the houses of the planets Taurus &/or Scorpio are ruled by?
5 – or am I “super-imposing” the position of the transiting sun in Taurus over my own chart and then trying to see if it creates aspects to the planets/signs already there?

This most-basic principle of chart interpretation is not something any of my reading has so far enunciated on in literal, practical terms. How do I do it ????!!!!!
If I can’t get this part right, I’ll never get anywhere!! (and I’d really, really like to)!
Your thoughts would be so very much appreciated.
